With our team of expert attorneys, staff, and student research assistants, we: Track and analyze policy developments, legal actions, and court decisions; Educate policymakers, the private sector, and advocates on the legal implications of these actions, and; Educate the public by serving as an expert resource for media and providing credible, accessible analyses in online platforms.

What We Do

Our track record of engaging federal and state regulators, NGOs, think tanks, and private companies to help solve the legal bottlenecks for key regulations allows us to identify and promote legally durable policies critical to decarbonization. Our work consists of several portfolios: Federal Climate and Public Health Rules; Electricity Law Initiative; State and Regional Climate Strategies and; Corporate Climate Disclosures and Financial Requirements. We also conduct focused research in other areas in response to current events and student interest.
