EPA, with the USDA and FDA, published for public comment the Draft National Strategy for Reducing Food Loss and Waste and Recycling Organics. The strategy document sets out measures to reduce food waste and food loss nationally, with the goals of addressing climate change, supporting environmental justice communities by reducing nutrition and food insecurity, and driving economic growth.
