EPA administrator and U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their “commitment to cooperate in tackling challenges of climate change, air and water pollution, lead poisoning, and recycling materials from plastics and electronic waste, and encouraging the responsible management of critical materials.” EPA will work in collaboration with USAID to share best practices in low- and medium-income countries.
