EPA Released 2023 Update to Equity Action Plan

EPA released the 2023 update to its Equity Action Plan. This equity plan is part of EPA’s efforts to implement Biden’s Executive Order 14091. The 2023 update identified eight priority strategies, including improving access to federal assistance, reducing cumulative impacts and health disparities, and addressing inequitable access to resources and EPA programs. Four of these priorities are carried forward from the 2022 action plan, and the other four are newly-identified priority areas. Ongoing updates can be found on the agency’s Equity Action Plan website.
