HUD Sought Feedback from Tribes on Environmental Regulations

HUD requested feedback from Tribes on HUD’s Tribal consultation policy. The comments were requested in furtherance of Executive Order 14154, “Unleashing American Energy.” The letter asked questions of Tribes on their experiences with HUD’s environmental reviews and sought input on measures to enhance coordination, streamline the environmental review process, and asked how HUD’s NEPA regulations could be improved. Feedback was due on May 25, 2025.
