Sep. 15, 2020 The Ozone Transportation Commission (OTC), a group of twelve eastern states and DC, urges EPA to respond to its earlier petition asking EPA to require Pennsylvania to include additional control measures for coal-fired power plants in its State Implementation Plan. EPA holds a public hearing on February 2, 2021.
Jan 15, 2021 EPA publishes supplemental information regarding the OTC recommendation submitted to require Pennsylvania to revise its state implementation plan to include additional control measures to ensure that the SCR and SNCR controls are optimized to minimize NOx emissions during the ozone season. Comment deadline extended to April 7, 2021.
