EPA and CalEPA Issued 2024/25 Action Plan for Joint Enforcement

EPA and CalEPA issued their 2024/25 Action Plan for Joint Enforcement. The 2024/25 Action Plan represents a continuation of the MOU first signed in 2021 to increase enforcement in communities overburdened by pollution. Under the Action Plan, EPA and CalEPA meet regularly and coordinate enforcement, engage in community forums with overburdened communities, employ rapid response task forces, increase public access to environmental compliance information, and create enhanced opportunities for information sharing across communities and within agencies.
