On Nov. 5, 2025, EPA approved the use of the pesticide cyclobutrifluram for use on cotton, soybeans and lettuce. According to the EPA, “significant carryover of cyclobutrifluram into the next year was observed in each of the field studies,” and it can be transported in runoff.
On Nov. 3, 2025, EPA proposed to approve the use of the herbicide epyrifenacil, for canola, corn, soybean and wheat crops. Comments can be submitted until Dec. 3, 2025.
