The General Services Administration disabled a Regulations.gov tool called the POST Application Programming Interface. POST API allowed advocacy and other third party groups to collect and submit public comments through their own websites and emails instead of requiring people to use Regulations.gov directly. While the tool is down, comments can still be submitted directly through Regulations.gov.
