Other

HUD announced the new Rapid Unsheltered Survivor Housing (RUSH) program to address homelessness in communities impacted by disasters. RUSH provides funds to help communities offer outreach, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing and other assistance in disaster-affected areas. The program is designed to support people who cannot access all services provided by FEMA and other federal disaster agencies. The rule went into effect on December 21, 2022.
