The OSTP announced new actions to “advance open and equitable research” including an official definition of “open science” to be applied government-wide; requiring all federal agencies to update their public access plans in response to OSTP’s memo on ensuring free, immediate, and equitable access to federally funded research; and releasing the Fifth U.S. Open Government National Action Plan.
