DOI Established Secretary’s Tribal Advisory Committee

At a meeting of the National Congress of American Indians, DOI Secretary Deb Haaland announced DOI’s request for Tribal member representatives for the first Secretary’s Tribal Advisory Committee (STAC). The Council is composed of one member representative from each of the 12 BIA regions and one alternate member, who are appointed on a staggered term for up to two years.
