The Biden-Harris Administration released the US National Blueprint for Transportation Decarbonization, developed in partnership between DOE, DOT, EPA, and HUD. The Blueprint included a section on environmental justice and equity, highlighting the disproportionate financial burden of transportation and limited access to transportation options in overburdened and historically underserved communities, and highlighted equity co-benefits of transportation decarbonization strategies.
