CEQ and OSTP Created Interagency Working Group on Indigenous and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (ITEK)

CEQ and the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) sent a memo informing agency heads of the creation of an Interagency Working Group on Indigenous and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (ITEK), in partnership with Tribal and Native communities. The working group will facilitate communication between the Federal government and Tribal members, and incorporate ITEK into Federal decision making to inform federal environmental policies.
