CEQ Issued Guidance for Implementing Biden-Harris Permitting Action Plan

CEQ, along with the OMB and the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council (FPISC), issued guidance to federal agencies for implementing the Biden-Harris Permitting Action Plan. The memorandum provided guidance on conducting early outreach with Tribes, states, territories, and local communities; accelerating permitting through early inter-agency coordination; establishing timeline goals and tracking project information; and improving responsiveness, technical assistance, and support.
