DOI transferred 80 acres of federal property in Ewa Beach, Hawaii to Native Hawaiians. The lands help to fulfill terms of settlement authorized by Congress in 1995 to compensate Native Hawaiians for 1,500 acres set aside for homesteading but later acquired by the federal government.
