EPA announced that the agency is beginning the process to prioritize five additional toxic chemicals for risk evaluation under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). EPA sought public comment on the prioritization of risk evaluation for acetaldehyde, acrylonitrile, benzenamine, MBOCA, and vinyl chloride. The prioritization is in line with EPA’s commitments to advancing environmental justice by addressing the impact of these toxic chemicals in use on workers, consumers, and communities.
