EPA Released Meaningful Involvement Policy

EPA announced the Achieving Health and Environmental Protection Through EPA’s Meaningful Involvement Policy, which is an update to the 2003 Public Involvement Policy. The draft policy aims to promote an EPA-wide approach that can be utilized when EPA staff designs and provides opportunities for meaningful involvement. EPA seeks comments on the draft policy regarding how meaningful involvement can be done in communities with environmental justice concerns. Comments are due on Jan. 16, 2024.
