EPA amended the regulations governing new chemical review. 

The amendments made PFAS ineligible for low volume exemptions (LVE) or low release and exposure exemptions (LoREX), ensuring new PFAS and other persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic chemicals receive full review prior to manufacture.
