The Trump Administration removed access to the National Heat Strategy for 2024-2030. In August 2024, the multiagency task force known as the National Integrated Heat Health Information System, or NIHHIS released the National Heat Strategy for 2024-2030 to promote proactive heat planning, response and resilience. The report recognized the particular burden that vulnerable groups face from extreme heat, and sets out a framework for leveraging federal resources and engaging with state, local, Tribal and Territorial governments to foster heat resilience.
